I don't know where to begin. I'm so grateful for Dr. Melikian, his team, assistants, nurses at DISC, the anesthesiologist, surgery coordinator... I had a bad accident 1.5 years ago that caused bursitis of my L5. An attempted spinal fusion was done by a doctor not of choice since it was an emergency. 1.5 years later to now, the fusion failed, hardware has loose and causing ~7/10 pain.Long story short, I saw 6 spinal specialists and ultimately chose Dr. Melikian. He answered every single one of my questions at the initial consultation, I felt comfortable and never felt rushed. He was confident in his recommendation in removing all of the hardware.It's been almost 2 weeks since the hardware removal and I feel so much better. Still recovering of course, but noticing a big difference. When I woke up from surgery, I cried because I could already bring my knees closer to my chest and I couldn't do that before. I felt more range of motion. The recovery has been fast, and overall pain vastly reduced, which I expect to lessen more as time goes on.Thank you Dr. Melikian and your entire team for taking such good care of me. I can't thank you all enough!!!

My MRI showed I had an epidural lipomatosis that was compressing my L4 and L5 vertebrae and which required immediate surgery. Dr. Melikian was highly recommended to me by my chiropractor. After meeting with Dr. Melikian and discussing the issues and the procedure I felt comfortable with the surgery.I had the spine surgery done at the DISC Center in Newport. The staff there was first rate in preparing me for the surgery and the post-op care. Since the surgery I've experienced zero nerve pain in my lower body. It's a life changer. I can't thank Dr. Melikian and my chiropractor enough for the positive impact they have had on my health.

Dr. Melikian and his team were nothing short of fantastic. From start to finish every person you come in contact with is professional, takes the time to answer all your questions. I’m 3 weeks post surgery and getting ready to start Physical therapy. I would definitely recommend Dr. Melikian for any needs you have
